New Gen TV 2023 Tour

We kick off the 2023 season with 5-Star Princeton Commit Will Cluskey from Bishops HS going up against New Gen Kicking's very own 4.5 Star Evan Martin from La Jolla HS.

Week 2 was a double-header with Poway's Duo Logan Norris & Tyler Hughes take on Saints' Declan Mullins and Sebastian Garcia. Saturday night was an ESPN matchup between Mater Dei Catholic's Angel Mendoza & Ricky Osuna and Danny Valencia & Tyler Prasuhn.

Week 3 was a candidate for game of the year. Granite Hills was one kick away from earning their first loss in almost two years. Senior All-State Kicker Robert Petrich makes his debut on New Gen TV against Declan Mullins & Sebastian Garcia and Saint Augustine HS.

Point Loma's Aaron Lee has one of the biggest kickoff legs in America and put it to use against University City. The standout sophomore kicker Kainalu Lee is deadly accurate on field goals and automatic on extra points.

5-star polynesian bowl commit Trey Coleman makes his debut on New Gen TV against Tyler Hughes & the Poway Titans. Coleman displayed his big kickoff leg and continues to be the specialist on the field each and every week.

Evan martin & the La Jolla Vikings make a return on New Gen TV with a dominating performance against the Mira Mesa Marauders. Eddy Medina makes his debut on New Gen TV with some booming punts and accurate kicks on extra points.

Two Senior Specialists headline Week 7 with Ramona's Ferny Torres & Rancho Bernardo's Ryan Frozano. Both of these kickers are looking to make a name for themselves on their way to a CIF ring. 

The Pointers make a statement with an impressive win over D1 Mira Mesa. Aaron Lee was crushing kickoffs all night while Marauder Punter Eddy Medina was dominating the punting game with big time punts and pinning the Pointers inside the 20.

A repeat of last year's classic matchup that had a combined SIX field goals. The 2023 version did not disappoint as Granite Hills' Robert Petrich went 3/3 on FG and Helix's Joshua Hossmann Lees hit a 36 yard game tying field goal as time expired to send the game into overtime.

We end the 2023 regular season with arguably the best specialist in the Southbay as Bonita Vista's Ricardo "Rancho" Rojas takes on Eastlake's Senior Kicker Marco Gonzalez. 

The 2023 Open Division Semifinals were some of the most exciting games in recent San Diego History. Both games went into overtime and ended on the final plays of the game. Granite Hills beat Carlsbad 46-45 in 2OT and Lincoln beats Helix 45-38 in OT.

5-Star Utah Commit Trey Coleman and the Del Norte Nighthawks celebrate their D2 championship after beating Evan Martin & the La Jolla Vikings 31-15.
